Getting to La Maison Bleue

Getting to La Maison Bleue couldn't be easier! Flybe, Ryanair, Easyjet and British Airways all fly to either Bergerac, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Limoges and coming soon the new airport at Brive.

Flybe fly direct to Bergerac from Birmingham, Southampton, Exeter, Leeds, Manchester, London Gatwick and Edinburgh.

Ryanair fly direct from London Stanstead and John Lennon Airport, Liverpool to Bergerac.

Easyjet fly to Toulouse from Bristol and London Gatwick.

British Airways fly to Toulouse from London Gatwick.

Driving directions from Cahors: Leave the A20/N20 in Cahors and take the D811 road. You will pass through Mercues, Labastide-du-Vert, Castelfranc, Prayssac, Puy L'Eveque and Girard is a small hamlet on the main road to Duravel.

Direction from Cahors can be found on www.mapquest.com, by typing in Start - Cahors; End - Duravel, 46700. The D811 takes you from Cahors straight to Girard, Duravel. Total est. time: 35mins.

Directions From Bergerac Airport (Roumaniere)

Turn left at airport exit and follow the N21 South. Turn left for directions to "Issigeac" and follow the D14 to Villereal. At Villereal follow directions for "Monflanquin" and follow the D124 to Fumel. From Fumel/Monsempron-Libos follow directions for Puy L'Eveque D911/D811. You will pass through "Soturac" and then "Duravel". Continue through Duravel until you see a small sign for the Hamlet of "Girard". La Maison Bleue is approximately 500 meters on your left on the main road.

Directions from Toulouse Blagnac Airport:

Leave Toulouse Blagnac Airport and take the A620/peripherique interieur. Keep right to take E09/E72 towards Bourdeaux/Paris. E09/E72 becomes A62-toll road. Take the E9/A20 exit - exit 10 towards Paris/Limoges/Montauban. Merge onto E09, E09 becomes the A20, A20 becomes N20. Stay straight to go onto A20 - toll road. Take exit 58 towards Villeneuve Sur Lot/Cahors Centre. Once in Cahors follow the D811 towards Puy L'Eveque, then Duravel. Keep on the D811 as it will take you all the way to La Maison Bleue. As you leave Puy L'Eveque, you will see a small sign for Girard (right hand side of road). You will see a row of houses and La Maison Bleue is the 4th house along. There is a big balcony at the side of the house, Big dark blue arch windows at the front. It is 5mins from Puy L'Eveque on the main D811 road.

If you would rather let the train take the strain, you can also travel on the TGV high speed train which leaves from Paris and stops at Agen, Cahors or Bergerac.

Eurostar is also a gateway to France and has frequent trains arriving in Paris, in which to start your holiday.
